Name your favourite restaurant and, if you had a memorable dish there, the name of that dish, and you may get the chance to see the recipe featured on TD!!

Margheritas restaurant in St Annes, England, has the best version of Pollo Vesuvio and Bistecca steak. I cant seem to find a recipe that sounds similar to theirs, I would love to know!
Oh my, Michelle, now you are setting me quite a challenge! A Malaysian king prawn dish sounds quite promising, though, so I’ll try, promised! Catherine, I found the restaurant (in Lytham Saint Anne’s). Added it to my list!.. Let’s get more coming!
Hi guys, sorry this took me so long so get back to you on this!! OK, here is the outcome to date:
Awana: chef said no, they are opening their own Malaysian cooking school soon and want to keep their trade secrets for paying customers
Daphne’s restaurant: Yes, they were really happy to share it, recipe to be featured soon in TD
Margheritas: I can’t seem to get in touch with them, will keep trying
L’Atelier: lost in the marketing machine – still waiting….
I used to love Daphne’s and went there a lot but I wonder how it is now??? Is it as good?
One I have discovered recently is the tiny L’Art du fromage off Kings Rd, 1A Langton street in SW10. I had a lovely salade nicoise there and a very unusual Alsacienne apple tart flambee!
I enjoy your chefs’ recipes and although I only do family, practical and tasty food at home, I do enjoy something else when out.
Cheers

Hello AL
I love your blog but I would also like your comments on mine if you can spare a visit! its on: http://travelsaroundmykitchen.blogspot.com and I have put the recipe for a spinach risotto I had at Sketch in conduit street. Unfortunately, this is my own take on it as the chef has not yet been asked to contribute… I find that sort of request difficult… How do you do it? Do you sometime get turned down?
Keep doing it though it is so helpful. I mainly do home cooking but one of these days I might ask a chef… Unless you can do it for me!? Since this is more your turf.
Cordialement,
Diane

Is it going well, Anne-Laure? I’m just curious about your progress.
I wonder how secretive the chefs will be or are they the sharing kind?
